Syncopation for the Nation was an 8 week drumming course that was held in the summer of 2022 in conjunction with the Pioneer Club, Electric Umbrella and Music For All charities.
 
It was open to anyone regardless of age, gender, background or drumming experience. Each session was an hour long and consisted of group drumming, drum games, learning the basic techniques, playing to music and playing complex patterns as a class.
 
The charge was £5 per session and all the money raised was split between the three affiliated charities. Each week the attendance ranged between 15-25 people of all ages. The course culminated with a public performance in St. Albans city centre.
